When it comes to your home, we understand that comfort and energy efficiency are important. We have several insulation options to choose from that will benefit your family for years to come. Among those options are:
Polyurethane foam tightly seals wall cavities, ceilings or floors and creates an insulation barrier that halts air leakage. Your home in turn will be comfortable, all the while lowering your energy costs. Additionally, your structural strength will improve. No need to worry about sagging insulation or materials falling out of place with this option.
Fiberglass batting works by creating an insulation envelope that prevents heat loss to the outside.
Cellulose insulation works in three ways. First, cellulose is installed to prevent heat loss through the ceiling. Secondly, cellulose is inserted into wall cavities, serving as insulation. Finally, if you have brick walls, we will install cellulose by drilling a hole in the mortar joint and mortar the hole upon completion.
Spray-on cellulose is a great way to remedy the heat/cold transfer. Also known as wet-spray cellulose, this option is environmentally friendly and also reduces noise pollution. Having a high R-value, it is termite-resistant.
R-Value: What does R-value mean? At the technical level, R-value is a measure of resistance to heat flow through a given thickness of material. In theory, the higher the R-value, the greater that resistance. That's true to a point, but it's just one of four key factors that determine the effectiveness of an insulation material. “They installed in-wall insulation in my stone ranch home. I thought they did an excellent job. I've noticed a big difference in my heating bill and it's gotten rid of all the drafts in the house.” (Indianapolis, Indiana)
“They were professional and did a fine job. They put insulation into the attic. Everyone was fine and professional. They showed up on time for both the estimate and the work. They cleaned up after themselves. They were in and out of here within a couple of hours. They sent me a revised bill by email the next day. I wanted it for tax reasons. They broke up the bill for me and responded in a timely manner. They did a fine job. They were better than what I expected.” (Carmel, Indiana)
“An additional 8 inches of insulation was added to our attic. Also, baffles were installed to channel the air from the soffits into the attic. The estimator responded to our request for a quotation in a prompt manner and was punctual with his appointment time. The two installers arrived within 15 minutes of their scheduled time. They discovered we had two attic entrances and chose the one least likely (garage pulldown) to cause a mess. They were able to use the 220V from the outside air conditioner outlet. By doing so, they had no need to enter the house proper. The baffles were installed without a problem and the entire project was completed within 3 hours whereas they had estimated it would take up to 5 hours. The installers were cordial and left no mess behind. When completed, we had an R-45 rating. We look forward to the savings forthcoming.” (Zionsville, Indiana)
